The Ideguchi group is dedicated to creating simple yet elegant optical and quantum technologies by deeply understanding the physics of light, thereby paving the way for new interdisciplinary research fields. In recent years, we have focused on developing spectroscopy and microscopy techniques utilizing advanced lasers. These technologies are applied to fundamental and applied research across diverse fields, including physics, chemistry, biology, and medicine. Furthermore, we actively promote the social implementation of the developed technologies. Through our cutting-edge research in optical science, we also place a strong emphasis on cultivating researchers capable of thriving on an international stage.
